I'm a jeweller, and not a member. I
understand the church and have no intention of interfering
with their beliefs. This sacred symbol of the Santo Daime church was ordered and created for a
member of the church.
Because
of recent complains about me "using" the symbol I'm
adding here a letter of that Fardados.

While the standard brass Daime "badges" are usually given to Fardados
by a Padrinho when they join the Church, many members then buy fancy
non-standard badges made by local (in Brazil) silversmiths. There
is no Church prohibition against this and is mainly a money issue. If
you have the money to buy a better quality badge, and you want to do so,
you do - and many do.
In the USA, for American members who have never taken a trip to
the real Church in Brazil, they would probably not know this, having never
seen a badge different from what they have been given.
I suggest you add a caption to the photo saying: "For Santo Daime
Fardadoes who want a special high quality Star, we make non-erotic jewelry
as well."
